I have taught middle school math in Clark County School District since 1995.
Since I discovered MathCounts during my second year teaching, it has been my passion.
I have served two years as president of Southern Nevada Mathematics Council, (SNMC), several more years as member of the SNMC board, and have worked closely with Curriculum and Professional Development (CPD) at CCSD over the years, serving on too many text book committees and syllabus committees and presenting a variety of trainings, often involving the use of graphing calculators and computer software.
I have also served as Math Department Chair at two middle schools--Thurman White and currently at Del Webb.
